Kelly Dinelle Payne...Drunk Driver...Killer

http://www.topix.com/forum/city/chesterfield-va/TI79KBG575K8NK220#.TqcaBLJU-OA.blogger I've had a long time to think about different things I've said and wanted to say about or to Kelly, the woman who killed my best friend.  And none of it has been kind, nice, or easy to swallow. Here's a little background for you: In 2001, Kelly Payne struck and killed 13 year old Elizabeth Melton in Jackson, Tennessee.  In May 2002, Payne pleaded guilty and was given sentences of five years for vehicular homicide and a concurrent two year term for leaving the scene of an accident. She was denied parole, but was released after 3 1/2 years in October, 2005.   Five months later she killed again in Virginia.  Payne was drunk and driving her boyfriend's truck home from work when she lurched off the pavement and struck Ashokkumar M. Patel as he walked alongside the westbound lanes of Midlothian Turnpike at the entrance ramp to northbound Chippenham Parkway. At the time, she was

Rose Melton, died too early, but never forgotten

If you click on the link listed in the post before this, you can gain some insight into the anger and hurt feelings from either side.  I miss my friend there is no denying that but I think I can say I'm pleased with the outcome as well.  This picture will show you how I remember Rose.  She's the one with her arm crossed. There was no smile on Crozet native Kelly Dinelle Payne's face when Richmond Circuit Court Judge Beverly Snukals sentenced the two-time drunk-driving killer to 46 years behind bars, according to the Richmond Times-Dispatch. "I could say I'm sorry, but it wouldn't begin to scratch the surface," Payne said, according to the TD. Payne's grinning mugshot in March belied the seriousness of her crime: on March 7, driving her boyfriend's truck in Richmond, she was involved in an accident. She fled the scene and then struck and killed Ashokkumar M. Patel as he walked home from work. She left the scene of that accident as well. Payne

Amanda Knox and Meredith Kercher

Interesting note...there is now a documentary of Netflix that is extremely interesting to watch.  It's a nail biting recollection of Amanda's steps into living abroad and the long drawn out journey home. Post from 10/5/2011 I have been following this case for some time now out of complete interest.  And personally I'm glad to see Miss. Knox finally home.  In 2007, Miss Knox was accused of killing her roommate Meredith Kercher.  Raffaele Sollecito was also accused of the murder of Miss Kercher.  This week (I can't remember if it was the day before yesterday or two days ago) Miss Knox and Mr. Sollecito were both released from prison by the Italian court.  Miss Knox has spent the last four years in prison. Here's what I know about the situation: November 2007, Meredith Kercher, a British exchange student, was murdered in Italy.  At the time of her death she was 21.  She was sharing a flat with three other young women at the time, one of them being Amanda Knox.

Old Blog spot

alishawilkins888.blogspot.com Good morning all!  Well if this is not aggravating, I'm not sure what is.  My old blog spot page no longer will allow me to sign in and add pages to it.  So, please excuse the extra pages if I start reposting old accounts and conversations.  There were some important expressions on there.
